I’m Paul Rush. I am the Artistic Director of the Sixty-Six Theater Co.
Prior to founding the Sixty-Six Theater Co. I was trained by Hedy Sontag, Marc Marno, and David Strasberg; teachers that trained directly with the legendary Lee Strasberg. I am a member of the prestigious Actor’s Studio. I have produced, directed, written, and acted in plays, movies and commercials, including the West Coast Premiere of For The Loyal that won the Eddon award for best director, best production, and best ensemble. I am happy to be part of the team that has created the only resident theater in West Hollywood California. Through our work with the Lee Strasberg Institute, West Hollywood, and the tireless team at Sixty-Six we have produced 10 plays in 3 years, remodeled our theatre, and won awards. I couldn’t be prouder to be part of this team of artists.
My work as a director is focused on the audience.
It is my responsibility to tell the story so my audience leaves the show feeling, thinking, and wanting more. I try to instill that need in every production I am part of.
I am honored to have the opportunity to tell stories. I am honored to work with great writers, and actors. I am even more honored to have been taught by wonderful teachers and friends that spent their time to support my dreams. There is no way I can repay everyone’s kindness that has led to my opportunities. I hope that through my hard work and dedication that they are proud.
